Pater Pickle Score (also called PickleScore)

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This policy applies to the website at https://vcwd.site/picklescore and the Android app on Google Play (package ph.gov.vcwd.picklescore). The service is operated by Valencia City Water District (VCWD), Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines.

Information we collect

• Account details you enter when you register or sign in: name, organization / office name, username, password, and email or phone if you provide them.
• Tournament, match, court, bracket, and score data created during play.
• Optional player photos you upload so names and faces can appear on the scoreboard and display board.
• Technical logs needed to keep scoring available, such as IP address, browser or app type, and approximate time of requests.

We do not collect your device contacts, precise location, SMS, call logs, or advertising ID. The Android app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

How we use it

We use this information only to run pickleball events: sign-in, assigning officials, live scoring, brackets, public display boards, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell personal data. We do not use the data for ads.

Photos and the Android app

Player photos are optional. When you choose a picture, the Android app opens the system photo picker or camera app. The app does not have broad access to your gallery and does not declare gallery or camera permissions for background access. Photos you upload may be shown on the public display board for that tournament.

Sharing and storage

Data is stored on VCWD servers that host vcwd.site. It is sent over HTTPS. Officials and administrators of your event can see match data needed to run the event. Spectators who have a match code or a public board link can see scores and any player photos posted for that event. We do not share data with other companies for their marketing.

Retention and deletion

Account and event data is kept while the service is used to run tournaments. To request deletion of an account, player photo, or event records, contact VCWD using the details below. We will delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed to operate a current event or to meet a legal duty.

Children

The app is a sports scoring tool. It is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• You can use public boards and some scoring with a match code without creating an account.
• You can skip player photos.
• You can ask us to correct or delete personal data you provided.

Account deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, open https://vcwd.site/picklescore/delete-account. Enter the Philippine mobile number on your account. We send an SMS one-time code only when that number matches. Enter the code to confirm deletion.
